UPDATE -  In light of recent CDC guidelines extending the limitation of gatherings over the next eight weeks, our venue is no longer available for Moonlight & Roses this year.  With many other events rescheduling and the pending uncertainty, venue availability has become limited for the foreseeable future.  For this reason and the safety of our participants, we have decided to cancel the in-person event and to host this year's Moonlight and Roses through an auction online, giving our entire parish a chance to participate from home.
We are grateful to the company ClickBid for waiving the $800 license fee to administer the online auction.  Participants will be able to use mobile bidding or a computer, similar to last year's event.  Assistance will be available via phone to those who would like to participate and are not comfortable with technology.  Items will be available for pickup and, in select cases, delivery the following week.
While this does not satisfy the first hope of an in-person event, we will work to find new ways to highlight and appreciate those who have supported us through sponsorships and donations.  If, for any reason, a sponsor or donor would like to withdraw their sponsorship or donated items, we would be happy to accommodate, as these are unprecedented times, and we are all adjusting.  More information regarding the online auction will be forthcoming.
Let us all continue to pray for those who are and will be affected by the coronavirus, whether through illness, isolation, or other hardship.
