Preserving Our Legacy
Since the 1880s, Saint Rose Parish and School has been an anchor in our community as a faith home for our parishioners, an education home for our students, and a collective home to those we serve. Our passion and tradition have been a blessing to all who encounter the Saint Rose Parish and School community.
As we look toward the future of Saint Rose Parish and School, we have the opportunity to preserve our historic church and improve our school building. By launching our Preserving Our Legacy Campaign, we can maintain the structural integrity and beauty of our church and continue to provide high-quality Catholic education. At the same time, Bishop Thomas invites Saint Rose Parish and School to play an important role in Living Christ, a diocesan-wide campaign to provide funding to support the clergy, expand Catholic charitable outreach, strengthen Catholic education, form lay leaders, and maintain Rosary Cathedral. Our community needs your help here at Saint Rose Parish and School, and within the diocese.
Our campaign will fully support the Diocese of Toledo Living Christ Campaign while we celebrate our past achievements and welcome our future by:
- Restoring the church entrance landing and steps
- Repairing stained glass windows and adding exterior storm windows on the church
- Removing and replacing the school’s wall facade
- Installing a new HVAC system in the Father Griss Building
In the coming weeks, you will learn more about the Preserving Our Legacy Campaign. Please keep your minds, hearts, and ears open to the message of our capital campaign. Join me in prayer that this effort may be successful. Together, as we embrace the needs here at Saint Rose Parish and School, we will keep our campus safe, accessible, and welcoming to all.
Devotedly yours in Christ,
Reverend Monsignor Charles E. Singler, D. Min.
Pastor
