Greater Los Angeles Wildfire Disaster Relief Collection

Our prayers go out to all who perished, their families, and untold numbers of people who lost their homes and businesses and are suffering from the devastation wrought by wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, California. Twenty-five people are known to have died (as of Jan. 15, 2025), with the tally likely to rise as strong winds threaten to expand the scope of uncontained fires in the region.

Your generous contributions can help provide essential food, shelter, and financial assistance during this critical time to aid displaced families and individuals. You have two options.

You can donate directly to Catholic Charities of Los Angeles’ 2025 Wildfires Disaster Relief Fund. Please click DONATE NOW. From the dropdown menu under Designation, select Disaster Relief Fund—WILDFIRES 2025. Or checks can be made out to Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., with a notation designating 2025 Wildfires, and mailed to: Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., Development and Communications, 1531 James M. Or if you prefer, as in past disasters, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo is collecting and forwarding donations dollar for dollar to Catholic Charities agencies in impacted areas for this disaster relief effort.
